Transportation System Plan Update & Transit Development Plan Now Underway

The TSP is a long‐range document that guides the expansion and management of our transportation network for all modes of travel over the next 20 years. In conjunction with the TSP update, the City will develop a TDP, which will inform investment in the Corvallis public transportation system.

City adopts rules to enable ridesharing in Corvallis

The Corvallis City Council voted unanimously on Sept. 18 to approve a new ordinance to the Corvallis Municipal Code, paving the way for ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft to operate in the City. The City Council's action this week will permit ridesharing companies to begin operating immediately in Corvallis.

The new ordinance corresponds with the beginning of the fall term at Oregon State University. Student representatives from Associated Students of Oregon State University, the university's student government, have advocated in favor of allowing ridesharing services to operate in Corvallis.

Steering Committee Meeting, April 24, 2017

The sixth meeting of the Corvallis Transportation System Plan Steering Committee will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Downtown Fire Station Meeting Room, 400 NW Harrison Boulevard, Second Floor, Corvallis OR 97333. Meetings are open to the public and include a public comment period.

Meeting locations are ADA-accessible. Information is available in alternative formats upon request. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities. To request an accommodation to participate in meetings, please call Mary Steckel at (541) 766-6916.


CAMPO Regional Transportation Plan Hosts Open House on March 16th

In a related field, the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is updating the Regional Transportation Plan and your input is needed! The RTP is a multimodal transportation plan that covers the cities of Corvallis, Philomath and Adair Village as well as portions of Benton County adjacent to those cities. Your feedback is important! Public comments on the final draft plan will be accepted through March 24, 2017. Comments can be submitted online via CAMPO’s website.

CAMPO Regional Transportation Plan Hosts Open House on January 25th

In related project news…the Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is updating the Regional Transportation Plan and is seeking your input. The RTP is a multimodal transportation plan that covers the cities of Corvallis, Philomath and Adair Village as well as portions of Benton county adjacent to those cities.

The project is hosting an open house to review and comment on the Draft Regional Transportation Plan and draft regional project list. The draft regional project list may be updated when the local Transportation System Plans are completed in Corvallis and Philomath.
